Angels Landing w/ HOKA homies, May 9, 2022

Utah often has a way of making words feel inadequate, so I can’t encourage people enough to visit places like Zion in person, especially the Angels Landing Trail, especially on a day as clear and sunny day and blue as the one we got to visit, brilliant and laid on thick above iron-rich strata and sandstone and random volcanic globs all squeezed, piled, and broken at every angle, peppered with divots and cracks that, somehow, are home to flowers and foliage that thrive in these conditions, take whatever the weather will offer, and rise beautifully in a beautiful place.

All that to say I have to go back and get more miles and hours here, as many as possible, to take in and listen to more of what this trail and Utah itself has to offer, quickly, I miss it already.
