Flagstaff Airport w/ Ty, June 9, 2021

First run with Ty went well, he defines beastly but is also a friend so I knew he’d be nice, we kept the pace G-rated and gabbed it up about all sorts of things, from running triples to our imminent Camp Chaski itinerary. It’s hard to think of a better first run experience in Flagstaff, as well as a great way to kill time while waiting for a friend to land at the airport.

Extra points for this segment being a casual spot around the airport’s parking lot. The abundance of natural splendor at altitude is a very lovable feature here, and it doesn’t seem to wane anywhere in the city, which feels funny to call a city, as well-forested and dominated by mountains and trails as it is.
