Stevens Park to Inspiration Point w/ David, July 24, 2021

I always have a great time with my friend, Chaski teammate, and HOKA Aggie extraordinaire Coach David Jackson, we’re both fairly busy and live far apart, but if I can depend on anyone to seize on a very early Saturday mornings, its a parent who also runs: gotta catch those miles before the kids wake up.

Stevens Park is an exceptionally beautiful spot in Santa Barbara, where I was born, and offers plenty of options within the trail system that extends into the hills behind it. David pushed the pace wonderfully, which I expected and loved, while we caught up and laughed and climbed through the cloud cover to a brilliant morning you can see in my video.
